ASK QUESTION
After installing ModMaster, I get the message "Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions...Windows must restore the original versions of these files."

This message is generated by the Windows File Protection feature of Windows XP and certain versions of Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server.

ModMaster version 4 uses Microsoft Access 97 (runtime version) and therefore includes numerous Microsoft dlls, exes, etc. However, these are installed in a way that should be compatible with your existing operating system and other software. If you get this message, simply cancel the resulting dialog and do not attempt any sort of restore.

For more information about Windows File Protection, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/222193/EN-US/
