 NEW for workers compensation analysis:
"CX" state code, available in update 07.10 and greater

Due to the impact of California’s recent legislative changes on workers comp trending factors and the ensuing impact on countrywide averages, we have created a new state choice of CX in the Workers Compensation Optional Input area of the Analysis Setup Data page.

If you elect to indicate WC individual state percentages, the CX code can be used to reflect the countrywide average excluding California.  This selection would best be used if the analysis includes workers comp coverage in several states excluding California. This is provided as an alternative to individually choosing the multiple states.  The default WC factors when no states are specified will continue to be the national average factors.

To use this feature, check the option for "Specify individual state percentages" on the Analysis Setup Data page. Then click the link that says "Click here to enter individual state percentages."

On the resulting pop-up form you can indicate the workers compensation breakdown by state. Your total percentages must add up to exactly 100. You may use the code 'CW' to indicate that the country-wide average should be used for any indicated percentage or 'CX' to indicate the country-wide average excluding California. For example, you might specify

TN 25%
TX 25%
CX 50%

The use of the 'CW' or 'CX' code are optional.
