How to create or select a file
view the video clip

Before you can view or enter mod data or calculate a mod, you must have an active file. If you are on the Home Page, you can select an existing file by clicking the down arrow on the Active File pull-down box and then scrolling to highlight and click on the desired file. Alternatively, from most pages in the system, you can click on the Mod Data option from the pull-down menu and then select Create a File to create a new file or Select a File to see an expanded selection list of all companies.

After clicking the Create a File hyperlink (from either the Mod Data page or the Mod Data pull-down list), a dialog box will appear. Enter the account name, which is the full company/client name associated with the mod. Then enter a file name, which can be up to 64 characters in length with digits and spaces but no other special characters. You may want to consider using a file naming scheme that reflects the policy name or number and the effective date. Click OK after entering these two fields, and you will be taken to the Company Setup page to enter more information for this file.

This page can be printed with no right-margin overflow by using the Page Setup command
to set the left margin to 1.0 and the right margin to 0.5 inches.
